the background

enigin was founded in 2002 to provide energy saving solutions for small to medium enterprises (SMEs) on a global scale. enigin achieves this by employing specially trained consultants as certified energy saving experts. Cost savings are guaranteed to the SMEs by using a revolutionary energy saving system 'Energy Maps' with the goal of reducing companies energy costs by up to 40%.

Enigin formulated a marketing program that includes an E-Centive program, Awareness packs, poster campaigns, training literature, branded merchandise and marketing collateral for the employees of the SMEs, in addition to an extensive global library of energy saving products that enable their clients to realize significant savings.

the challenge

enigin needed a central online repository for all consultant stationery, marketing collateral, training literature and promotional merchandise as well as an easy access to the recommended energy saving products. Using Magellan's scalable ECOS (electronic commerce ordering system) software platform, we designed and programmed a customized e-Commerce company store solution.

Magellan's creative services team developed a suite of branding concepts which focused on an integrated look and feel to the marketing materials and promotional kits that worked effectively across a global stage.

Technically operating as an ASP, Magellan's ECOS software allows an unlimited number of employees, business partners and consumers to be connected via a single point of contact: an online marketplace. The eStore developed by Magellan streamlines relationships, processes and transactions between all parties. By operating as a fulfillment, order processing and customer service center, consumer satisfaction levels are maintained at their highest levels by directly providing the bricks and mortar back-end processes involved in deploying the merchandise to the recipients.

The connection and integration of enigin's employees, business partners and consumers to a single online eStore promotes enigin’s identity and brand globally and markets its image throughout diverse and competitive markets. Because the Magellan ECOS software is designed to provide a single source solution for product procurement, inventory management, customer service and reporting functions, enigin is not burdened with outsourcing these tasks to multiple vendors and realizes "one stop shopping" to support all functions of their eStore.
